About Vanway Kitchen + Bath
In 1981, Vanway Kitchen + Bath started up operations as a local cabinet maker in Prince George, BC. Since then, our team has grown and we have built beautiful cabinets, bathroom vanities, closets, and desks for homes and businesses across British Columbia’s northern and interior regions. Each and every unit we produce is locally made by our trained craftsmen and cabinet makers. As a result, the Vanway name is trusted for exceptional quality at an affordable price.
Over the years, Vanway Kitchen + Bath has expanded. We’ve renovated our flagship showroom in Prince George, BC, and opened a new showroom in Terrace, BC. We’ve also created our first free downloadable kitchen planning guide! It draws on decades of experience helping hundreds of homeowners through the renovation process.
Cabinet Makers Since 1981
In 1981, a local cabinet maker started operations in Prince George. Over the years, the Van Haren family developed a well-known reputation for their thoughtfully designed and carefully constructed cabinets.
As a result, Vanway Cabinets (as it was known at the time) grew to become Prince George’s largest cabinet maker. Local home owners came to Vanway for their kitchen renovations and local developers trusted them for their custom homes.
First Nations Ownership
In 2018, Vanway Cabinets merged with a local quartz countertop company and became Vanway Kitchen + Bath. The new local management team was committed to building upon Vanway’s longstanding reputation as a quality cabinet maker and brought fresh ideas and solutions for growth.
Under their ownership, this local cabinet maker has renovated their Prince George showroom and opened a new showroom in Terrace. In 2021, Vanway Kitchen + Bath had an additional change in ownership as Takla Lake First Nation was welcomed as partial owners of the company. More than 40 years later, the Vanway vision continues. We’re still working together to produce the finest wood cabinetry and quartz countertops in BC’s north and interior regions.
Your Local Cabinet Maker Reviews
A Locally Owned Cabinet Maker Since 1981
Vanway Kitchen + Bath has expanded from our original showroom in Prince George, BC, to an additional showroom in Terrace, BC. Our fine cabinets and countertops are built in our 20,000 square foot cabinet maker shop in Prince George. From there, we deliver directly to our client’s homes and install each project with skill and attention to detail.
Vanway Kitchen and Bath made custom cabinets and countertops for our kitchen renovation. They turned out extremely well. The installation was seamless and timely. Everyone at Vanway was helpful and professional. The installation crew was particularly clean, tidy, and professional. The entire project went without a hitch, everything was delivered and installed on time and as promised. Vanway's pricing was very reasonable compared to other businesses that supplied quotations on the work. I would gladly use Vanway again and have recommended them to friends. An added bonus is that they are a local cabinet maker supporting our community.
Professional, prompt and expertise was there. No mistakes, done right the first time. I remodelled an old kitchen and added new appliances, island, countertops and extra cupboards plus removal of walls and low ceilings. Vanway was instrumental in having everything correct with the design before construction. No waiting. Dates were promised and met. Do not hesitate to use Vanway.
I've had my Vanway kitchen for about a year now. It is perfect! I have not found any defects in the quality of the materials or work. It has stood up to daily use and still looks incredible! The pricing was very reasonable, and the staff were an absolute pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them!
